Clinics
Shah Alam is served with many private clinics that exist in every part and residential parks in the city. The main government's clinic, on the other hand, is located in Section 7 and known as Poliklinik Komuniti Shah Alam (Shah Alam Community Polyclinic).

Hospitals
A government's hospital is currently under construction. It is located besides the government's clinic in Section 7. The construction is expected to be completed in 2010 and can accommodate up to 300 beds at a time.

There are private hospitals in Shah Alam too. Currently, Shah Alam residents go to these hospitals for treatment while waiting for the new government's hospital to be ready. The hospitals are:
KPJ Healthcare Selangor (formerly known as Selangor Medical Centre)
Darul Ehsan Medical Centre
Salam Medical Centre (Shah Alam Specialist Medical Centre)
Columbia Asia Medical Centre
